Justin Krol picked up his first pair of drumsticks at age seven and hasn’t set them down since. After formative years studying with Wisconsin legends John Ruka and Del Bennett, he continued his training at UW–Oshkosh and UW–Milwaukee in music and recording.
On stage and in the studio, Justin has built a reputation for elevating the artists around him. He has collaborated with acclaimed producers including Pat Sansone (Wilco), Bill Skibbe (Jack White, Blonde Redhead), and Alex Newport (Bloc Party, Pissed Jeans).
His touring credits span the U.S. and Europe, where he has served as the opening act for Willie Nelson, The Lone Bellow, Bob Mould, Nikki Lane, and The Hold Steady.
A career highlight came when Justin joined forces with the late Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters) for one night, holding down the drum chair while Hawkins stepped into the spotlight as frontman of Chevy Metal.
In addition to his performance career, Justin has over 18 years of teaching experience at Cascio Interstate, White House of Music, and Beihoff Music. He is also an accomplished composer, creating original scores for television, film, and national commercial campaigns—including Super Bowl spots.
