GUITAR LESSONS

WAM’s guitar lessons are perfect for all ages and skill levels. Each lesson is tailored to the individual student’s goals and abilities with a heavy emphasis on learning songs.  Topics studied include traditional note reading and music theory, technique, fingerstyle guitar, folk, blues, rock, pop, reggae, jazz and bluegrass.

Beginning bass lessons are also available.

UKULELE LESSONS

Yes, you can learn the ukulele! Ukulele lessons perfect for younger students or anyone looking to pick up a fun new hobby.  Students will learn basic uke technique, site reading and a heavy emphasis is put on strumming and singing fun songs.

FLUTE LESSONS

We offer flute lessons for all ages and abilities. Whether you’re new to the instrument or trying out for an orchestra, Carol gives in depth training on the flute technique. Individual flute lessons, group lessons and ensemble work are all available.

We also offer Kinderflute lessons for early childhood music education.

We offer saxophone lessons for students of all ages and skill levels. Our saxophone lessons are tailored to the your needs and designed to be fun and interactive so you can achieve your musical goals and become band-ready in no time!

Wether you’re a beginner or a pro, we offer trumpet lessons for all ages and skill levels. We teach both classical and jazz techniques in a fun environment.

CLARINET LESSONS

At Wisconsin Academy of Music, we offer clarinet lessons in a welcoming environment for beginning to advanced students. Lessons will focus heavily on technique, fingerings, and proper breath support. Students will be exposed to classical, jazz and beyond.

ENSEMBLE CLASSES

Learn the dynamics of making music with your peers!  Our teachers customize ensemble classes to meet the ability and interest of their students.  Our ensembles have performed at Summer Fest, the Villa Terrace as well as local farmers markets and small venues.
